Winter beginnings...

On an icy windy winter day 22 years ago at a holiday market in Switzerland, I sold precious works of handmade stationary sets decorated with my drawings and wood cut prints.

Gusts of wind attacked my market stall and made me react quickly. By using mandarines, I weighted down my fragile products to keep them from flying away. Oh dear, I remember it was so incredibly cold that I was barely able to move my fingers while helping customers.

Many years after this unforgettable day, the wonders of digital technology let me reach out to you with my creations without freezing my fingers to the bone.

Apothecarieartistique is the store of my art turned into one-of-a-kind products. I call it 'apothecarie' since the imagery highlights the essential magical connectedness between natural environment and living being. I'm an observer who loves traveling into the depth of humanity, animality and botany by discovering precious details of the moment.

Adding sometimes a little twist to a painting makes me smile.
